Yesterday, March 27, early morning, three dacoits with pistols and TT entered my mother's house, beat up my brother and the servant, locked everyone in a room threw everything on the floor to see what valuables there were, and made away with everything that could fetch a price.
When throwing books, they also threw the Quran on the floor. My 90 yaer old mother couldn't stand it and protested: "You are Muslim, and you are throwing the Quran?" Back came the answer: "So what! we are Kafir!"
They were Pathans, between 20-25 years of age, most certainly from Muslim backgrounds.

The Creator has revealed in the Qur'an facts about the creation, wich could NOT have been known 1400 years ago when the Qur'an was revealed!
Examples:
1- Big Bang
"Do not the Unbelievers see
That the heavens and the earth
Were joined together (as one
Unit of creation), before
We clove them asunder?"
(Qur'an, 21:30)
2- The expanding universe:
"With the power and skill
Did We construct
The Heaven:
And indeed, We
Are (its) expander"
(51:47)
3- Description of the sequence of embryonic stages:
"And We placed him (i.e. man) as a sperm-drop
In a firm lodging (i.e. the womb)
Then We made the sperm-drop
Into a clinging clot, and We made
The clot into a lump (of flesh),
And We made (from) the lump, bones,
And We clothed the bones with flesh;
Then We developed him into
Another creation. So blessed is
God, the Best of creators."
(23:13,14)
In the preface of the book "The developing human", by Dr. Keith Moore, of Canada, it is mentioned that the description of the Qur'an of the embryonic stages is astonishingly accurate!
4- The sun will eventually consume itself totally:
"And the sun
Runs its course
For a period determined
For it; that is
The decree of (Him)
The Exalted in Might,
The All-Knowing"
(Qur'an 36:38)
The same message is also found in 13:2, 35:13, 39:5 and 39:21.
5- The Orbiting and revolving of the sun:
"It is He Who created
The night and the day,
And the sun and the moon:
All (the celestial bodies)
Swimming, each in its
Rounded course"
(Qur'an, 21:33)
Also
"It is not permitted
To the Sun to catch up
The moon, nor can
The night outstrip the day:
Each (just) swims along
In (its own) orbit
(According to Law)"
(Qur'an 36:40)
6- Mountains have underground roots, which make them look like a peg (or stake):
"Have We not made
The earth a resting place?
And the mountains as stakes?"
(78:6,7)

"And the mountains
He firmly fixed"

7- Barrier between river and sea water after they mix at the end of the river:
"And it is He who has released
(Simultaneously) the two bodies
Of water, one fresh and palatable
And one salty and bitter, and
He placed between them a barrier
And prohibiting partition."
(25:53)
8- Darkness in the depths of oceans, which would be fatal to reach without pressure adjusting equipment + the fact that there are deep waves going in different direction from the surface waves:
"Or (the Unbelievers' state)
Is like the depths of darkness
In a vast deep sea which
Is covered by waves, upon which
Are waves, over which are clouds:
Depths of darkness, one
Above another. When one puts
Out his hand (therein), he
Can hardly see it.
And he for whom God has not
Granted light - for him there
Is no light."
(24:40)
9- Every living thing is made of water (the basic substance of a living cell is made up of 80% water):
".......
And We made from water
Every living thing
...."
(21:30)

"And God has created
Every animal from water"
(24:45)
10- Fruits have male and female organs:
"And fruit
Of every kind He made
Two mates"
(13:3)
Also
"Exalted is He who created all
Pairs all things that the earth
Grows, as well as
Their own (human) kind
And (other) things of which
They have no knowledge"
(36:36)
11- Production of milk:
"And verily in cattle there is
A lesson for you.
We give you to drink
Of what is inside their bodies,
Coming from a conjunction
Between the contents of the
Intestine and the blood,
A milk pure and pleasant for
Those who drink it"
(16:66)
12- Pain receptors present in skin:
"Indeed, those who disbelieve in Our
verses, We will caste them into a
Fire. Every time their skins are
Roasted through, We will replace
Them with other skins so they may
Taste the punishment. Indeed, God
Is ever Exalted in Might and Wise"
(4:56)
You know that with a third degree burn, pain is not felt anymore!
When Prof. Tagatat Tejasen, Chairman of the Department of Anatomy at Chiang Mai University in Thailand, read this verse, he could not believe that the Qur'an mentioned this scientific fact 1400 years ago!
And as a sincere and objective scientist, he declared his acceptance of the Qur'an as the book sent by the Creator of man and he entered Islam.

Exseno, thanks, and what is your email, your blog, etc. so that we can let you know that there is a way to read our blogs.
I am bewildered, dazed and confused, but most of all disappointed and hurt that Pakistan saw fit to block there own bloggers from posting or even viewing there own and other blogs.
Some of the nicest and most interesting blogs that I thoroughly enjoyed visiting where those from Pakistan. They were all written by highly intelligent and interesting people. One that I can think of was particularly enjoyable. It had wonderful stories of this persons travels in their own beloved country, Pakistan.
Their writing was so descriptive and beautiful that I felt as though I was taking these wonderfully enjoyable trips with them. You will be dearly missed!
There were no blogs that I read from the people of Pakistan that were offensive to their own country, but instead they were informative interesting and helped people like me ,to know of and understand things about there holidays , customs and religious beliefs for which I am very grateful.
For some of us that are not as lucky as others to be able to travel and visit other countries blogging is the only way to get to know each other and try to understand each other. It is a wonderful way for some of us to make new friends around the world. To the government of Pakistan I ask that you please reconsider and allow it to continue.
If only the government of Pakistan could realize that most of their bloggers have helped not hurt their country. They have been the best ambassadors that they could have.
I can only hope and pray that the government of Pakistan in their wisdom, will realize that if this ban has arisen from someone posting something unpleasant, that everyone should not be punished for the actions of one.
And since I have no other way to convey this message I hope that someone, somewhere, someplace with the knowledge or the power that I do not have, will find this post and do something to help.

Don’t Block the Blog
I am able to post, but I was unable to view my blog. It now turns out that some ISPs have blocked the entire blogspot.com site. well, now I have found ways to view.
I support blocking those specific blogs which carry the cartoons depicting the last prophet (saw), but not the entire blogspot site which carries millions of blogs.

Since 28th February (2006), Pakistani Bloggers’ Freedom of Speech has been under attack by some, if not all, Internet Service Providers (ISPs) who has chosen to block all blogs hosted on the blogspot.com domain. Political pressure groups have protested to the government to block those web sites displaying the controversial cartoon images of Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) that were hosted on the net. But instead of blocking specific sites, ISPs have simply blacklisted the entire domain, causing thousands of blogs to be inaccessible for viewing in Pakistan.
It is our point of view, that any censorship of blogs is unacceptable, be it a few offensive sites inciting a hateful stereotype, or hundreds of blogs protesting controversial caricatures or even the thousands of sites that remain indifferent to the issue.
